My 4 E+H wire-type level radar level gauges all have a measurement current of 22mA; I wonder if anyone has encountered this issue.
If this unit is malfunctioning or frozen, it might generate an over-range current; please check it
What does a freeze-up mean? Does it refer to the level gauge itself freezing up, or does it relate to the analog input module?
Is it already installed and in use? Is the cable too long and curled up at the bottom of the tank? If it grows too long, trim it to the actual height.
Set the threshold voltage. If it is above 22 or below 4, set the lower threshold voltage
It should be in a faulty state now, with an invalid current being output,,,,, Check whether there are any alarms on the display, and what is the code?
It’s better to use domestic products; imported ones are expensive and it’s difficult to find support for them. Nowadays, the quality of domestic instruments is pretty good as well – they’re cheaper and come with decent service. There’s hardly any need to worry about contacting the manufacturers. It’s likely that the instrument is operating outside its range or that the cable is touching the pipe wall
It was installed earlier, and the problem arose later. After I removed the coaxial cable that connected the waveguide cable to the control unit, the current value still showed 22mA
Generally, a short-circuited sensor shows 4mA, while an open-circuited sensor shows 20mA. 22 mA; a value above 20 mA indicates a possible issue with the internal circuitry.
