Our company wants to install a system for producing methanol from coke oven gas
May I ask where your company is located, and what size of installation are you planning to use?
Methanol prices are poor, so it’s not very economical to produce methanol. If there is a large volume of gas, synthetic wax can be produced; methane can be converted into CNG or LNG. If the volume of gas is smaller, liquid ammonia and LNG can be produced.
The overall conversion route must be discontinued in terms of both investment and energy consumption.
Avoid LNG and CNG – both of these are monopolized by CNPC and Sinopec, so it’s not possible to purchase them at reasonable prices
Where are you guys? I was involved in the production of methanol from coke oven gas, but most plants have stopped doing that now. . .

These days, liquefied natural gas is produced from coke oven gas, and some facilities that used to produce methanol from coke oven gas have been converted to produce liquefied natural gas instead
