How are the guide bearings (intermediate bearings) of vertical long-shaft pumps lubricated? (Startup phase and normal phase)
It is recommended to phase out this type of pump; our unit has replaced its long-shaft submersible pumps with self-priming pumps, which work much better.
The maintenance of self-priming pumps is much easier than that of long-shaft pumps. It can avoid a lot of trouble.

Then press the fueling gun twice every month. Of course, it is a bearing with lipid lubrication. The fans and motors of the air cooler are also handled in the same way, and the lubricating oil pipeline is over 6 meters long.
Dry friction; generally, bearings use graphite
There is no lubrication at the moment the pump is started; the shaft sleeve is made of PTFE while the liner is made of graphite. When the pump is started, since the pump is not filled with liquid, there is no fluid in the flushing pipe, and self-lubrication relies on the shaft sleeve and liner themselves
Regular long-shaft pumps have cooling sleeves.
