Protection of internal floating roof tanks during pipeline cleaning

I would like to ask the experts here: during the line cleaning process in storage and transportation systems, the use of PIG balls for cleaning may cause cleaning gas to enter the internal floating roof tank, leading to tilting of the floating disk and resulting in accidents. Currently, apart from controlling the gas flow rate toward the end of the cleaning process or using ball valves to prevent this, are there any methods involving modifications to the interior of the internal floating roof tank – such as altering the tank’s inlet and outlet areas or the floating disk – that could ensure the floating disk does not tilt even if gas does get inside? I hope the experts here can give me some ideas. Thank you!
Previously, it was done by connecting the scavenge gas pipeline to the top of the internal floating roof tank, with the gas being discharged through the vent holes of the tank.
I am a professional manufacturer of internal floating disks, and I can prevent excessive gas pressure from affecting the floating disk by installing automatic vent valves.
It is better to use temporary pipelines and force a disconnection to avoid risks
