This doesn’t require any process flow diagrams. What is the concentration of the concentrated sulfuric acid you have, and to what concentration do you plan to dilute it? This requires stirring; concentrated sulfuric acid must first be added to water. The desired concentration should be determined first, after which water is added for dilution. The order of operations must not be mistaken.
A mixer should be installed in the pipeline where concentrated sulfuric acid and water meet; check valves and remote flow meters need to be fitted on the pipelines for water and concentrated sulfuric acid. The ratio of sulfuric acid to water should be calculated based on the desired concentration of dilute sulfuric acid. Controlled via DCS.
Heat release must be controlled; the amount of heat released is calculated to determine the heat exchange load that needs to be removed.
