Time fades away, submerged in darkness

Everyone goes through periods of uncertainty, during which they spend a lot of time repeatedly thinking about the past and future – things whose outcomes seem determined yet remain unclear. Until the emotions arising from those fleeting thoughts become strong enough to instantly destroy those beliefs which once seemed unshakable. The already unstable world collapsed, leaving only ruins. Walking in the darkness, nothing is more desired than a glimmer of light; as I stumble around in search of it, my calm composure borders on madness – such that whenever the east begins to lighten in the early morning, I naively assume that light will surely follow. After how many times of disappointment did I realize that it was never the transition between day and night that kept hopes buried? Some say that no matter what hardships you are going through now, one day you will laugh lightly at those pains that were once too difficult to even mention. I believe that one day, I too will laugh at the present, sooner or later!
