Seeking manufacturers and information on the use of clearance adjustment in reciprocating compressors

Our facility’s hydrogenation unit is equipped with some reciprocating compressors. In order to improve energy efficiency, we would like to install a clearance adjustment system. We would appreciate it if companies that have used such systems could share their experience; if possible, we would like to visit those sites. Manufacturers are also welcome to get in touch. The more expensive ones are from Holzbach, while the cheaper ones come with a stepless adjustment system from Jiujiang – it works quite well, and it’s possible to recoup the investment over time
Adjusting the clearance is not easy at all. What I saw was a container with variable volume added to the outside of the cylinder body, and the volume of this container was adjusted manually to accommodate changes in the processing volume. I have discussed this with the manufacturer; generally, it is required that the manufacturer carry out the calculations and make the adjustments, as improper handling can lead to imbalance and cause periodic impacts on the crankshaft. Therefore, regular manufacturers also do not recommend clearance adjustment.
Are there the specific company names and contacts for stepless adjustment in Jiujiang, as well as information on the performance of relevant using companies? I’ll go take a look. Hehe

They also have many successful projects in hydrogen-related applications, and their performance is roughly on par with that of the foreign company Horburg. For large reciprocating machines, the cost savings from operation over one year are sufficient to recoup the investment cost. Search on Baidu online, and the sales team will get in touch.
