What should you do when you inspect a pump and find that it makes abnormal noises and experiences significant vibration?
Close the outlet valve of the pump, or open the bypass across the pump’s inlet and outlet pipelines.
Find the cause, take appropriate action, or seek a professional’s opinion.
Check whether the pipe support is appropriate; if not, add more
Adjust the outlet valve; if it doesn’t work, report to the shift leader and stop the pump for inspection.
During the day, you should report directly to the team leader, who will then contact the equipment technician to go to the site and handle the issue； If it is a night shift, it is best to switch the pump with the approval of the dispatcher, and wait until the equipment technician arrives to handle it
Contact the relevant departments for on-site analysis; it is possible to switch to the backup pump first~~
There is noise, and there is vibration. Quickly check if there are any issues with the incoming materials; if not, proceed to cut open the pump for inspection
Check if any bolts are loose, and see if there are any noises coming from the pipes as well.
