There are many places in a factory where steam is needed. So, where does this steam come from?
It depends on the manufacturing process used; it generally comes from boilers
Where does the heat in a boiler usually come from? Is it generated by fuel?
The reaction process can also produce steam, as well as waste incineration equipment
There are several sources of fuel or heat for boilers: first, conventional coal; second, natural gas; third, fuel oil; fourth, waste; fifth, exhaust gases; sixth, waste heat; seventh, solar energy; eighth, nuclear energy; ninth, biofuels such as wood
There is its own boiler room; in industrial parks, there are steam supply units
The steam in the plant mainly comes from the boilers of the on-site power plants or the centralized heating stations in the facility, while it also comes, to a lesser extent, from waste heat recovery systems or exhaust gas combustion systems. According to the \"Design Code for Steam Systems in Chemical Plants,\" systems are classified based on the nominal pressure rating of the highest-level main pipe: systems with a steam pressure of less than 2.5 MPa are considered low-pressure systems ; 2.5MPa-6.4MPa, which belongs to the medium-pressure system ; 6.4MPa–13.7MPa: high-pressure systems ; Those greater than 13.7 MPa are ultra-high pressure systems.
With the **new Air Pollution Emission Standards**, all coal-fired boilers with a capacity of 10 t/h or less used by individual factories will be phased out, to be replaced by centralized heating systems within industrial parks and long-distance heat pipelines. As a result, centralized heating systems that achieve low nitrogen emissions or near-zero emissions will become the trend in the field of clean energy.
The simplest approach would be to use coal directly to heat a boiler for generating steam; according to what was said on the 9th floor, those systems with a small capacity are no longer allowed to be used. There are also power plants and large steam compressors; the superheated exhaust gas after these turbines is cooled and depressurized to serve as a low-pressure steam source
Our steam all comes from the boilers.....
