Some companies don’t have enough dry gas available; in such cases, hydrogen production using dry gas must be taken into consideration. If there’s no excess dry gas, and new facilities are to be built, as far as I know, methanol is relatively inexpensive, so methanol-based hydrogen production is often the choice
