In a fixed-bed reactor, the catalyst needs to be replaced; there is concern that catalyst sintering may have occurred during previous operations, which makes unloading it a complicated process. Is there anyone with expertise who can suggest a way to make the uninstallation easier? !
If lumps form inside, someone has to go in and remove them; there is no other way. Generally, the work of removing the material is carried out after the temperature is reduced, the atmosphere is replaced, and sampling analysis shows satisfactory results. If it is necessary for someone to enter, an air-supplying mask with a long tube must be worn when using an inert gas such as nitrogen.
