We have a device here that can reach speeds of 12,000 revolutions per minute, with variable frequency control; it has been operating at 43 Hz for a long time now. Is it okay to increase the operating frequency to 50 Hz after such prolonged operation at a low frequency? Could operating at a low frequency cause the internal components to be unable to handle the stresses associated with higher frequencies?
At 43HZ for a long time, the power-saving effect may not be significant; it’s better to operate at the power frequency!
