As the title suggests, in the processes of coal-to-oil and coal-to-olefins production, how many tons of methanol are consumed per ton of oil produced, and per ton of olefins produced? Seeking advice from experts~~

By coal-to-oil, you must be referring to coal-to-methanol, and then methanol-to-gasoline.
They are all around 3 tons or more; both oil and olefins consist of C and H, and it’s a matter of molecular weight, so the weight ratio is roughly the same
