My plant uses a single-tower side-stream extraction process; please share any problems you have encountered with side-stream extraction For example, in cases of blockages in the side line extraction, what measures were taken to address them? By keeping the temperature at the side stream extraction point within an appropriate range, the hydrogen sulfide content in the gas extracted from the side stream can be reduced, and blockages in the side stream system are generally avoided.
Did you not carry out sedimentation and oil separation before entering the tower?
Our side-line extraction temperature was around 140 degrees; the three-stage fractionation lines would often get clogged. After adjusting the operation of the stripping tower by increasing the pressure and temperature, keeping the side-line extraction temperature above 150 degrees, there were no more blockages
