What are the technological advancements in dealing with high-concentration, hard-to-degrade organic wastewater and highly saline wastewater in the coal chemical industry?
Is MVR technology effective for desalination of chloride ions?
I have specialized adsorbents for those containing high levels of chloride ions
Making breakthroughs is extremely difficult; it’s not something that can be achieved in a day or two. It requires persistent effort and continuous improvement. What we need to do is keep iterating and improving, until we achieve a breakthrough! The treatment of saline wastewater in the coal chemical industry is carried out in three stages: the first stage is stable operation, during which factors that affect stability such as scaling are addressed; the second stage involves low-cost operation, using MVR and other low-cost equipment and processes; the third stage is resource utilization, which entails the selective recovery of salts from the saline wastewater in order to recycle these salts. We’re working on it!
The method of using adsorption resins for treatment, followed by reverse osmosis membranes and electrodialysis, can be considered
Treated by quality separation or; The leaching method yields good results, but the operating costs are too high.
What new technologies and guidelines are available abroad that can be used as references?
Has the coal chemical industry changed from a growing industry to a declining one?
Zero-emission technologies, electrolytic oxidation technology; see the treatment of coking wastewater in Qian’an and the treatment of wastewater from Great Wall Energy Chemical in Ningdong
Electroadsorption desalination is used to reduce the salt content; thereafter, ultrasonic electro-Fenton treatment is applied (no chemical reagents are required, and very little sludge is generated). The investment and operating costs of this approach are much higher than those of MVR evaporation desalination combined with biological treatment to remove COD from the wastewater.
