Regarding glass-lined flanges in HG2105, there are two types: A and B, and the markings at the bolt hole locations differ. What do these markings mean? I would appreciate some guidance
I didn’t check the specifications to see whether it’s Series A or Series B – that is, the national standard version and the American standard version; these two types differ in the number of bolt holes
It shouldn’t be; there is a marking indicating square and round holes next to the Type A bolt hole, but not for Type B
The materials are different; type A is cast iron, while type B is steel plate or forged parts
