1. Check valves cannot be used in series; they can be used in parallel if necessary. 2. Multiple steam-using devices should not share a single drain to prevent short circuits.

C is correct, BD is incorrect. Was question A marked wrong? For the condensed water recovery system, a shut-off valve, inspection mirror, or sight glass is installed after the trap. This is from the original text of the association’s document.

If you want detailed information, you should first consult HG20570, as well as the relevant specifications for check valves; many piping manuals also cover this topic. It is also covered in the petrochemical design manual. There are plenty of books.
