In ventilation and air conditioning systems, there are duct-type sensors and pipe-type sensors; being instruments of the same type, they should operate on the same principle. So if there are differences between duct-type and pipe-type sensors, what exactly are those differences? I seek advice from those who are more knowledgeable
For example, instruments for measuring temperature, pressure, and flow – what are the differences between those designed for air ducts and those designed for water pipes?
I’m not very familiar with ventilation systems; they seem to fall under the category of civil engineering. But I’ve never seen any meters used in ventilation systems before Are you referring to contact and non-contact? These are two different types of instruments... Then there’s direct measurement and indirect measurement... I can’t see what the difference is between measuring gases and measuring liquids; aren’t ventilation systems all about gases? It is recommended to ask the civil engineering department……
