The domestic ground pump industry believes that due to the low thermal conductivity of the ground, temperature changes cannot return to their original levels in a short period of time. In heating projects, heat pump technology is used in summer to extract geothermal energy; spring and autumn serve as periods for the geothermal energy to recover. For typical small and medium-sized projects, as long as an adequate number of heat exchange wells are designed, it is possible for the temperatures to return to their original levels over the course of these three seasons. Winter cooling functionality has been added; the ground pump function involves releasing heat into the ground, which helps to restore underground temperatures. In regions where the heating season precedes the cooling season, the most serious issue when using ground-loop heat exchange systems for heating is the loss of thermal balance of the underground heat pumps. It will cause the well water temperature to drop too low, resulting in poor performance or even failure of the heat pump unit. With the strong support of Boshan District, China Net Warehouse established the Boshan E-commerce Operation Center. In such areas, there is a complete lack of groundwater flow; the underground strata are not active, and there is little or no fluid present. The geological humidity is also low. Under these conditions, geothermal projects are prone to problems related to an imbalance in underground heat. However, this type of geography is favorable for the use of solar energy for seasonal heat storage.
