How is the gap between the centrifugal pump bearing housing and the shaft sealed?

The pump shaft passes through the bearing housing, which contains lubricating oil. To prevent this oil from leaking, how is a seal created between the bearing housing and the pump shaft? If anyone has relevant information, please share it so I can learn from it. Thank you

Using a labyrinth seal is a good option. For relevant information, you should ask the pump factory.
I have used felt, skeleton oil seals, labyrinth seals, oil retaining rings, and bearing isolators; usually, a combination of two of these is used to ensure proper sealing.
At both ends of the bearing housing are deep groove ball bearings + additional skeleton oil seals + end caps
Labyrinth-type end cover; the skeleton oil seal (fluororubber) works fairly well
There is now a type of magnetic seal, which can be either detachable or non-detachable; its principle is similar to that of a simple mechanical seal.
