I would like to ask the experts here: how should one quote for pressure vessels? I’m a layperson and know nothing about this at all. Thank you! Thank you!
There are calculation sheets for all of these; the materials used in the manufacture of the equipment are available, allowing for an estimation to be made. There are also those that charge based on the weight of the equipment.
It depends on what purpose your quote is for; if it’s used for estimating costs, then the weight needs to be calculated in order to determine various estimation parameters. If you are asking for quotes for purchasing equipment, it’s better to turn to manufacturers who specialize in producing such equipment, as factors such as material utilization rates and labor costs, along with other associated expenses, vary from one manufacturer to another. If you set the base price yourself, refer to the equipment manufacturing standards. In any case, the cost of the materials for the equipment needs to be calculated.
Each manufacturer has its own way of quoting prices, but the most fundamental component is the cost of materials, followed by various coefficients
For example, if the cost of CS is 8,000 yuan per ton, and the container holds 10 tons, the total price is 80,000 yuan. If there are special inspections required, the cost associated with those inspections will be added to the total amount.
