We are Linde Process; the system has two filters, one is a methanol-poor filter and the other is a methanol-rich filter. The lean methanol filter is located on the outlet pipeline of the thermal regeneration tower, while the rich methanol filter is situated on the outlet pipeline at the bottom of the hydrogen sulfide concentration tower.
First, the drain valve of the backup filter should be closed, and the inlet valve of the backup filter opened to allow air to escape. Once liquid starts flowing out evenly, the air release valve should be closed, and finally the outlet valve of the backup filter should be opened. Operation of the backup filter is complete. Close the inlet and outlet valves of the primary filter, and open the drain and vent valves to drain liquid from the filter.
