Regarding the fire resistance rating of buildings, it is known that firewalls are required to have a fire resistance duration of three hours, but what kind of building structure can meet this requirement? How thick must the reinforced concrete be? Is it possible to reach a 24-brick wall thickness? Currently, many companies use double-sided colored steel plates with rock wool in between for their partition walls; but how many hours can such a structure withstand? I hope experts can provide some insights on this

Double-sided color steel plates with rock wool in between can generally provide protection for 1 hour. Ordinary block walls, concrete walls, and solid brick walls can all meet the requirements of firewalls. If the renovation project requires lightweight firewalls, fire-resistant gypsum boards or reinforced fiber calcium silicate boards can be used.
