Carbon monoxide is listed in both the ‘General Toxic Substances List’ and the ‘Highly Toxic Substances List’; which category does it belong to?
Given the level of danger, I think it’s still a highly toxic substance

It’s indeed a question – it goes without saying that carbon monoxide is a toxic substance, but why is it listed among the highly toxic substances as well? I checked the statements in the letter from the General Office of the Ministry of Health seeking opinions on the revised version of the \"List of Highly Toxic Substances\" (hereinafter referred to as the opinions), and I roughly understood the reason. The opinion states that 4 highly toxic substances are listed in the catalog of highly toxic substances; “1” corresponds to the MAC value in the \"Occupational Exposure Limits for Hazardous Factors in the Workplace\" (GBZ2-2002)
