Yesterday, my boss assigned me a task to research devices related to gas-solid reactions, and to learn about the structure of various reaction equipment used in such processes. However, after searching all day long, I was unable to find any relevant information, so I’m reaching out for help to the knowledgeable HaiChuan **. I would like to ask everyone: what are the devices that are primarily used for gas-solid phase reactions? I would be extremely grateful if you could tell me the main types of reaction equipment used for such purposes. :lol

Are you referring to reactions in which the reactants are solids? Or is it through the catalyst? I have encountered the reaction of hydrogen reducing copper-zinc alloys; is this considered a gas-solid reaction?
The reactants in gas-solid reactions are gases and solids; the key aspect of such reactions is the gas-solid contact surface, which affects the reaction rate. Therefore, in most gas-solid reactions, the solids exist as particles (or powders) or are supported on some carriers (catalysts). By fluidized bed reactor, I mean a reactor in which the reactants are solid particles that react in a fluidized state with the gas introduced from the bottom.
