What the poster is referring to is probably the flushing water from scheme 62 – it’s used to prevent coking on the back side of the seal as well as the accumulation of dirt, and it can also be used for cooling. If it’s a regular, fixed-type throttle bushing, leaks will definitely occur continuously. In terms of design, this is allowed.
