151 6.3.4.2 For multi-pass tube banks, the inner depth shall be such that the minimum flow area between adjacent tube passes is not less than 1.3 times the flow area of the heat exchange tubes in each pass； When the pressure drop permits, the minimum flow area can be appropriately reduced, but it must not be less than the flow area of the heat exchange tube per pass. What does that mean? What is the inner depth?
According to the definition in 151, the inner depth refers to the dimension of the tube box in the axial direction
