Currently, there are no regulatory documents regarding approval procedures, safety distances, etc. Do any experts have any reference materials related to the establishment of LNG supply stations on-site? Some reference suggestions would be fine too.
The spacing between gas supply units in bottles is small; when using storage tanks for gas supply, the spacing should be determined based on the distance between gasification stations. I used to work in a facility classified as Category B before. . .
The issue of on-site gas supply is quite serious at present. In my opinion, it depends on the type of enterprise carrying out the construction: if it’s a municipal gas system, then after LNG is vaporized, it enters the municipal public pipeline network rather than an independent pipeline network owned by the enterprise itself; in such cases, GB50028 should be applied. If the vaporized gas is intended for use only within the enterprise itself, then GB50183 should be followed, as that’s how GB50028 defines municipal gas systems. Additionally, China implements industry-specific supervision, meaning different industries are regulated by different departments – municipal gas systems fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Construction, while industrial and trade enterprises (such as those in metallurgy, steel production, textiles, printing and dyeing, glass manufacturing, etc.) are under the supervision of the work safety authorities. It’s clear that these enterprises do not belong to the municipal industry category; therefore, GB50028 should not be applied. Some people say that GB50028 states that gas engineering projects built by industrial enterprises for their own production processes can follow this standard, but it also specifies that compliance with **current relevant standards is required as well.** In GB50028, the word “can” is used, meaning that this standard can serve as a reference, but other standards must also be met when they apply. The revised version of GB50183 specifies that it applies only to municipal gas projects; hence, I think it’s better to follow GB50183
