For example, a circulating water tank designed specifically for use in Class A workshops can serve as an auxiliary facility for those workshops; it can be located outside the explosion-hazard area； 2 Your structure is a sewage treatment tank, (including oily waste tanks or containers), with a spacing of 15m in accordance with Table 5.2.1 of the petrochemical regulations ； 3 If your structures are factory-based fire stations, telecommunications stations, or fire pump rooms, and they represent important buildings within the factory complex, their distance from Class A buildings should be between 35-40 meters. Sir, ours is just a sewage treatment tank; it doesn’t contain any oils and isn’t considered an important facility. We have installed a methanol storage tank there. Are there any specific fire separation requirements between such storage tanks and sewage tanks? ?
That also requires a 12m spacing. This is my personal opinion; I’ve looked into it before. No relevant legal provisions were found
