Such faults are generally caused by insufficient voltage in the motherboard battery, and replacing it should resolve the issue. However, in some cases the problem persists even after replacing the motherboard battery; there are two possible explanations for this: 1. A problem with the motherboard’s circuitry, in which case professional assistance is needed for repairs; 2. An issue with the motherboard’s CMOS jumpers – sometimes, incorrect settings of these jumpers, such as setting them to the reset option or to use an external battery, can prevent the CMOS data from being saved.
I’ve learned it, but I still don’t know where the motherboard power supply is: lol
