What kind of tank is it? What is its measurement range in meters? Does it have mixing functionality? Is there any insulation or heating capability? Is it open-top or pressurized? Are level measurement and switching functions integrated into one device? These are the questions that someone working with instruments should ask Can you specify the process parameters?
The key is what signal you use: for digital signals, it’s a level switch; for analog signals, you can use differential pressure or magnetic flap switches. These devices aren’t expensive at all – they’re much cheaper than radar sensors and similar ones
I’m puzzled – the original poster didn’t even mention the parameters, yet you still dare to give answers. Can an ultrasonic level gauge be used for installation on the side? Where are the side openings? Is there stirring? Is it a metal can? How tall is the jar? If you don’t even know these things, yet still recommend them to others – how can that be considered responsible at all?
