As the flood season approaches, various companies are preparing or arranging flood prevention supplies, which may include the preparation of sandbags for flood control. Let’s start by talking about our preparations: Some of our company’s power distribution rooms are located on the first floor, and these rooms need to be equipped with flood prevention sandbags. The doors to these power distribution rooms open outward; to meet the requirements for flood prevention, we placed the sandbags inside the rooms in advance. Specifically, there are rodent-proof boards at the entrance to the power distribution rooms, and the sandbags are placed right against those boards, ensuring a stack height of two layers. The relevant management departments of the company now require that sandbags be placed at the entrance, as this ensures consistency and also gives a neater appearance. But in reality, when there is actually a problem, the staff on duty simply don’t have time to go and place the sandbags. Moreover, if sandbags need to be placed in the power distribution room, it’s necessary to open the door first before putting them in there, which is a waste of time. So I think for important positions like those in the power distribution room, sandbags should be prepared in advance to take care of any possible situations.
