I entered the pressure vessel industry last year, starting with the manufacturing processes, and gradually began to worry about my future. I know people who have been working in design for over a decade, yet still don’t earn more than 4,000 per month; we are a qualified manufacturing company. So I would like to ask everyone for advice on how to plan for development in the pressure vessel industry
How is everyone doing? How did they all develop?
By improving oneself, one will inevitably gain recognition, whether or not one changes jobs
1. That’s the situation in the pressure vessel industry: there are around 6,000 first-class pressure vessel companies, 5,000 second-class ones, 4,000 third-class ones, and 3,000 companies that are not of any quality. 2. Personal development also depends on the company’s platform; if the platform is inadequate, no amount of individual effort will lead to a good future. 3. With a few years of experience, those who are good at English can go to engineering companies; if their English is not good, then that’s it.
Looking at the situation today, there are only a few companies that specialize in pressure vessels and manage to do well; those that have their own patents or unique products fare better. In general, the field of vessel design and manufacturing doesn’t seem very promising, as there are too many manufacturers, leading to fierce competition. As someone mentioned above, working for an engineering company is a good option
If you are interested in the work, accumulate some experience over a few years; if that doesn’t work, then change jobs； If you’re not very interested, change careers while you’re still young
What tier of city is this? In developed areas, the figure is definitely higher than this; I know many people who have worked in factories for several years. In a small place, 4000 is considered okay

No matter what industry one is in, as long as one improves their own capabilities to a certain level, money will no longer be a problem. Also, if you feel lacking in confidence or for other reasons, it’s advisable to step out of this circle sooner; the later you wait, the more stuck you’ll get.
