Due to space constraints, it is not possible to bend the steam coil of the equipment on site; it is planned to bend each turn into two semi-circles and then weld them together using pipe clamps. I would appreciate your advice on whether this method is feasible. Additionally, with a large number of coil turns, it can be classified as a Class I vessel
Sure, I did that last year, and it was an internal coil.
Why not use a pipe bender for coiling coils?
That’s what people usually do, right? It’s too difficult to cook it for a full cycle – the process is quite challenging. You can definitely do it this way
