Taking the new products as examples, for instance, in water treatment plants, DN500 electromagnetic flowmeters are used for the pipelines; they were originally from Kolon, but now I want to switch to those from Kott. Are the flange spacing, flange size, and flange bolt hole spacing of the flowmeters from the two manufacturers identical? If they match, I can remove the old one and install the new one directly, without needing to add or remove anything else.
Instruments are inherently universal; as long as their specifications meet the requirements of their original use, they can be replaced directly
You need to check whether the flange standard selected by Kote is the same as that of the original Cologne version; if it is, then there’s no problem and it can be installed directly
Check the sample; if it meets the usage requirements, feel free to replace it~~
These can be specified when placing an order for procurement: nominal diameter, flange spacing, flange specifications, pressure rating, operating temperature, and so on.
The most difficult aspect to standardize is the flange spacing; if the flange spacing on the new gauge is small, it’s easy to solve the problem by adding an insert ring. If it gets too big, it will need to be changed, or perhaps it’s better to buy one with the same spacing.
Generally, it’s sufficient that the flange grade and diameter match; the main concern is any issues with the spacing!
That’s not good; the flow coefficient and other such values need to be verified.
As long as the flanges follow uniform standards, they can be installed; it’s just that the length of the flow meters is likely to vary
