Before application, the surface of the object to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, oxide scale, rust, old paint layers, etc.; this can be achieved using methods such as shot blasting or sandblasting. 2. Use electric derusting to reach ST2 level before proceeding with construction; higher surface treatment levels yield better corrosion resistance. 3. Before use, the paint in the bucket must be mixed thoroughly. Add the curing agent according to the specified ratio to the primer, then dilute it to the standard viscosity using the primer thinner. After filtering through an 80-mesh filter cloth, it is ready for application. 4. Construction is mainly done by spraying, but brushing can also be used. Generally, it is applied twice; the next application can be done once the surface is dry from the first application. 5. After construction, it can dry naturally, or it can be dried artificially at 60°C for 45 minutes, or at 70–80°C for 30 minutes. 6. Use a roller or spray to apply the colored topcoat, applying it evenly 1–2 times to achieve a smooth finish. 7. Pay attention to the treatment of the joints where the epoxy resin coatings are applied sequentially; the coating should be uniform with no sagging.
