Regarding the oil level in the bearing housing

The normal oil level is between 1/2 and 2/3 of the oil sight glass. Does this refer to the device being at rest or in operation? Since the oil level definitely drops during operation, operators often think the level is low and therefore add oil.

What you see during regular inspections is the oil level at operating conditions, and there’s no doubt about that.
There’s no need to discuss this further; 1/2–1/3 definitely refers to the operating condition, so it’s necessary for the oil level to be slightly higher when the device is not in operation

For ordinary pumps, the oil level does not differ much between operation and standby conditions! ! !
It should be the liquid level during operation. When refilling fuel, we usually fill it to 2/3 of the gauge level. In this way, during operation, the liquid level will not drop below the 1/2 mark.
