Could an expert please explain the relationship between the position of the back support pins and the rotation direction of the rotor?

I’m quite confused as to whether the tilting pad support pin should be oriented in the direction of rotor rotation or in the opposite direction. I’d appreciate some advice from those who know more about this

Thank you for taking the time to answer. What you mean is that it should be positioned closer to the outlet end, so that lubricant can easily flow into the bearing shells. However, each bearing shell has rounded edges or oil inlet grooves, which should help create an oil film. Moreover, once the lubricant enters the shells, their condition changes as well. Being closer to the inlet end is more advantageous for self-aligning rotation. The above are just my own thoughts and doubts; I’m not sure if they are correct. I would appreciate it if an expert could explain this in more detail
