Smoke coming from the coke oven chimney

The fire channel on one side burned continuously for about an hour and a half without any exchange of air; the smoke coming out of the chimney was slightly blue with a yellowish tint. The sulfur content detected through online monitoring increased significantly – what could be the reason for this? Why is it smoking?

What is the process? Whenever there is combustion of materials in a furnace, smoke is generated; and if that smoke isn’t purified, it remains untreated.
Burning on one side of the vertical flue for such a long time can lead to high-temperature accidents. An increase in the sulfur content of the exhaust gases indicates severe leakage! Check whether it’s the high temperature in the flame channel that has caused new large-scale leaks! ? !
With unilateral combustion, the flue temperature rises, which causes whatever is accumulated in the flue to burn up; it’s not a major problem. However, it is not ruled out that high-temperature accidents could cause leakage through the furnace wall.
White smoke is caused by excessive moisture in the flue gases and a low exhaust temperature; yellow smoke results from excessive leakage of raw gas, while black smoke is due to incomplete combustion. Most of the sulfur in the flue gases comes from leaks through the chimney
