　　In Windows, keys F1 to F12 each have various functions, but not many people are aware of them, let alone beginners. Mastering the functional roles of the F1 to F12 keys can make you more efficient than others. 　　F1: If you are in a selected program and need help, please press F1. However, it works in the DOS window; give it a try! F8: It can be used to display the startup menu when starting up the computer. Some computers also allow this key to be pressed at the beginning of startup in order to quickly access the boot settings menu, where one can easily choose to boot from a floppy disk, a CD, or directly from the hard drive, without having to go through the hassle of entering the BIOS to modify the boot order. But it can be used in Windows Media Player to quickly lower the volume. 　　F10: Used to activate menus in Windows or programs; pressing Shift+F10 brings up the right-click shortcut menu.
