Water enters the filter through the inlet; it first passes through the coarse filter element to remove larger particles, then reaches the fine filter mesh, where even smaller particles are removed. Finally, the clean water is discharged through the outlet. During the filtration process, impurities gradually accumulate on the inner layer of the fine filter screen, creating a pressure difference between its inner and outer sides. When this pressure difference reaches the preset value, the automatic cleaning process begins: the drain valve opens, and the hydraulic motor chamber (suction chamber) as well as the hydraulic cylinder of the main pipe assembly release pressure and discharge the water ; The pressure inside the hydraulic motor’s control unit and the sewage suction pipe drops significantly. Due to this negative pressure, dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter is sucked in through the suction nozzle, flows into the hydraulic motor chamber, and is then discharged via the waste discharge valve, thus completing a sewage suction process. As water flows through the hydraulic motor, it drives the sewage suction pipe to rotate; the hydraulic piston in the hydraulic cylinder causes the sewage suction pipe to move axially. By combining axial movement with rotational motion, the sewage cleaner assembly cleans the entire inner surface of the filter completely. The entire cleaning process will take several dozen seconds. The drain valve closes at the end of the cleaning process; the increased water pressure causes the piston of the hydraulic cylinder to return to its initial position, and the filter prepares for the next cleaning cycle. During the cleaning process, the filter continues to function normally for filtration. I have used automatic cleaning filters, but such filters don’t have two layers of screens. Won’t the coarse filter screen get clogged? How to clear blockages? The self-cleaning method described by LZ is only applicable to fine filtration; if coarse filtration cannot be self-cleaned, won’t it get blocked soon? Or perhaps LZ’s setup consists of two self-cleaning filters connected in series, one for coarse filtration and the other for fine filtration; I hope LZ can clarify this.
