In many air separation units, the valves need to be installed in reverse orientation, including those at the exit of the expander. The purpose of this reverse installation is to enhance their sealing performance and prevent leakage of the medium~~
Reverse installation means installing it in the opposite direction to its indicated flow?
It is installed in the opposite direction to the valve’s identification; for example, a standard globe valve has fluid entering from the bottom and exiting from the top, while installation with fluid entering from the top and exiting from the bottom represents reverse installation.
