Glucose is too expensive, so there is plans to use flour instead; however, I recall that in a previous project, after using it for some time, white flour-like crystals were found in the sludge within the aeration tank. Here, I would like to ask what the BOD value of the flour is? Will long-term use lead to the accumulation of inorganic impurities in aeration?
Industrial glucose costs 3,500–4,000 yuan, which is more cost-effective than using flour.
