There are 2 silos, 2.5 meters in height and 1.5 meters in diameter; there is a DN150 feed inlet in the middle of the top, and an outlet in the middle of the bottom； The medium is similar to lime powder and becomes sticky when exposed to moisture ； To measure a continuous quantity ； What level gauges are you recommending? ?
What is the required level of precision? Is there a hard connection to the silo? It can generally be solved by weighing; it does not come into contact with the material, and is stable and reliable.
A relatively accurate method for weight measurement is recommended; radar is another option. When selecting a model, pay attention to choosing one that comes with a purge function to prevent material buildup
The best solution is still to weigh it； The others all need to address the issue of material accumulating in the middle (during feeding) or sinking (during discharging). These two states can result in the same material level while the actual amount of material differs significantly.
Ultrasonic waves certainly won’t work well. Is there enough space for pulse radar? You might give guided waves a try
For applications where high precision isn’t required, I’ve never used weighing devices and don’t know much about them. Which domestic brand makes good weighing devices?
