Must the liquid chlorine pump room be located in a separate room? What is the basis for this? ? ?
The liquid chlorine pump definitely has its own installation location; as for whether a separate room is necessary, that’s not really required.
I work in a liquid chlorine storage facility. Experts suggest that liquid chlorine pumps should be placed in a separate room. Are there any regulations regarding horizontal storage tanks and pump rooms? It seems I couldn’t find any such rules! Could we follow the specification that the distance between liquid oxygen storage tanks and pump rooms should be no less than 3 meters? After all, chlorine also acts as an oxidizing agent
I have read the GB11984-2008 \"Safety Regulations for Chlorine\" issued several times, and for the several issues you mentioned, there are no relevant regulations available. Which expert asked the question? Ask that expert.
Our office does indeed have a separate room. The reason is unknown~ But for the liquefaction process, after liquid chlorine is stored, it is the liquid chlorine pump that supplies it; there aren’t really any other devices that work alongside the liquid chlorine pump, right?
