The walls are connected to the gussets using expansion bolts. Is it allowed to use small shims between the walls and the gussets in order to level them? Which standard specifies this? Does anyone know? I would appreciate some guidance
It can be leveled using shims, but the angle of the shims should generally not exceed 5 degrees, as a larger angle can cause them to fall off. It’s impossible to have such a provision in the standards.
