Seeking help with valve issues

Our newly built spherical tank is almost ready, and it’s time to install the wall-mounted gate valve. The bottom of the tank is convex; when connecting convex and concave surfaces, a concave valve must be used, and the flange below the valve remains concave as well. Are there gate valves with a concave flange on one side and a convex flange on the other? ? ?
It’s fine to pair a concave flange under a concave-door valve with a convex flange – then why would there be valves with one concave and one convex surface?
