It cannot be operated without turning off the gas supply knob. When performing operations with the handwheel, first move the handwheel to a stationary position and turn off the air supply, before operating it with the handwheel. For double-acting cylinders, it is necessary to open the balance valve.

The valves are all different; some of those we have require the gas supply to be turned off, while others can be turned even with the gas supply on – it’s just a bit more difficult to do so.........
