In coking design, how is the ammonia concentration calculated? Ammonia is present in gas, and what data is needed to determine this amount? Has anyone calculated this? Could you teach me? Thank you in advance
It’s so confusing – I ask the question and then have to answer it myself. The amount of ammonia solution to be used is 8 m3 per ton of dry basis, while the volume of ammonia water in circulation is approximately 3.5 m3 per ton of dry coal, with a cycle time of once every 4 hours. The values I found in books; I’m not sure if they’re correct
