Everyone, are there any of you who work in LNG? I’d like to ask what stages are involved in the process? How much do workers earn? How is the work environment?
What is used to produce LNG? Different process routes result in different stages in the production process
Reply to the original poster’s question: 1: Based on an SNG system, compression, drying, decarburization, liquefaction cryogenic tanks, LNG storage tanks, and loading platforms are required; 2: Currently, in China, liquefaction is mainly carried out for SNG and coalbed methane ; 3: As for compensation, salaries vary depending on the position, and it also depends on the strength of the company one joins ; 4: This type of industry is relatively clean, with low noise levels; when the equipment is properly configured, the workload is also relatively light. It is essential to be cautious regarding fireworks and to take proper anti-static measures ;
LNG production process: If the pressure of the feed gas is sufficient, it is purified (decarbonization, dehydration, removal of heavy hydrocarbons, mercury removal); if the pressure of the feed gas does not meet the process requirements, it must first be compressed. After purification, it is liquefied; liquefaction is also the core process in LNG production, requiring high technical expertise and strict operational standards. After liquefaction, it is stored in a storage tank. Finally, it comes to the loading unit.
Four stages: compression, purification, methanation, and cryogenic liquefaction
Pre-treatment, compression, purification, methanization, cryogenic processing, loading stations – the salary shouldn’t be too high; generally around 3000 or so
The working environment is fine; it’s quite clean, though there’s a slight smell of coke ovens in the workshop
Two routes: one is coke oven gas – shift to remove CO – PSA to obtain SNG, followed by cryogenic liquefaction to LNG. One method is to produce SNG from coke oven gas through methanation, and then liquefy it into LNG via cryogenic treatment. Salaries are divided by region.
There are compression, purification, re-compression, deep desulfurization, methanation, drying and mercury removal, liquefaction, loading, etc
LNG production: It depends on whether it is co-production or pure LNG production. For producing LNG from natural gas, there are units for dehydration and mercury removal, MDEA carbon removal, refrigerant compressors, BOG compressors, liquefaction and separation processes, loading stations, air compressors, LNG storage tanks, as well as maintenance facilities. LNG production from gas: gas holder operations, temperature-swapped adsorption, feed gas compressor operations, booster compressor operations, dehydration and mercury removal processes, MDEA carbon removal process, dry purification, methanation, refrigerant compressors, nitrogen compressors, liquefaction and separation processes, loading platforms, LNG storage areas, maintenance operations.
